KEY TO THE CODES AT END OF THE PLANT DESCRIPTIONS:

H* - attracts Hummingbirds

Acalypha hispida, "CHENILLE PLANT" - Fast-growing, easy shrub for summer patio or houseplant; large, heart-shaped leaves & drooping, 5-in., crimson, chenille-like flower spikes through warm weather; pinch to promote bushiness. [5]
